Charitable Donations and Fundraising
Like many other hospitals, Hinchingbrooke raise funds to buy items which we wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford.
For the past two years, extraordinary fundraising efforts by staff at Hinchingbrooke along with patients, volunteers, the general public and the Trust, have raised and contributed an astonishing £1.2million for our Macmillan Woodlands Project. The dream is to make a new cancer centre a reality, and in February this year, Macmillan launched a fundraising appeal to raise a further £1.2 million. To find out more please click here.
We have been fortunate to receive a number of legacies over the years and most recently received a generous legacy from Joyce Moss which enabled us to provide free TV entertainment systems for our patients.
Our Charity Stall Volunteer Fundraisers also work incredibly hard to raise funds for the hospital, collecting more than £1 million over the past 25 years. Funds raised by the Charity Stall have helped us to purchase medical equipment.
How can I donate?
Your help is very much appreciated and there are various ways that you can donate to Hinchingbrooke’s charitable funds:
You can donate to our charitable fund by cheque made payable to ‘Hinchingbrooke HCT – Charity’ and sent to the address below:
General Office (Cashiers)
Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust
Cheques should be sent with an accompanying note explaining what the donation is for and the name and address of the donor, so we can send a receipt.
Donations can be paid through our pages on either the Just Giving website or Virgin Money Giving website. Paying online is especially convenient for the Trust, as the site enables the easy administration of Gift Aid, where we can reclaim additional tax from the Government on every pound donated to the funds.
