Following a series of workshops with staff to help identify our priorities for the future, the Trust’s vision, values and priorities, drawn up with the help of staff are:
Vision
- ‘Providing the best, sustainable healthcare services for local people’
Purpose
- ‘To work in partnership with others to provide safe and effective health and social care for the people of Huntingdonshire and beyond’
Values
- Providing the best experience for patients, carers and families
- Recognising and valuing staff as our greatest asset
- Treating everybody with respect and dignity
- Putting quality at the heart of everything we do
Priorities
- To deliver high levels of patient safety and satisfaction
- To develop a motivated, flexible and appropriately skilled workforce
- To develop networks and partnerships to ensure services are developed and sustainable into the future.
- To use our resources wisely and invest in services and infrastructure to support service delivery
- To ensure Hinchingbrooke is a positively recognised brand, through the effective engagement and involvement of staff, patients and others.
- To become an integral part of the community
- To ensure appropriate governance arrangements
Work is now underway and will be built on over the coming years to fully integrate these values into everything we do, to ensure we meet these priorities and deliver our vision.
