Care Quality Commission Health Check

The Trust is subject to several measures of its performance. One of the most important is the Care Quality Commission's (formerly the Healthcare Commission) Annual Health Check, released in the autumn of each year.

Throughout the year, the Trust is also subject to several surveys of both its patients and its own staff.

  • Core standards
  • Existing targets
  • Use of resources
  • New national targets

  • Clinical and cost effectiveness
  • Patient focus
  • Accessible and responsive care
  • Care environment and amenities
  • Public health

Almost met due to:
