
The Trust Board comprises a Chair and two Non-Executive Directors, appointed by the Secretary of State for Health on the recommendation of an independent Appointments Commission.
The Board, within the regulations and policy guidelines issued by the Secretary of State, is responsible for the approval of Hinchingbrooke's statutory accounts, ensures it is meeting its public accountablity obligations, performance manages the Franchise Agreement and any other matters reserved for the board.
All members of the Trust Board are committed to maintaining the public service values of accountability, probity and openness. The Trust is accountable to the public, professional and parliamentary scrutiny in respect of the quality of the services it provides and the effective control of its resources.
