Generous Christmas tree donation

Hinchingbrooke Hospital receive generous Christmas tree donation

Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust was pleased to receive the generous donation of an enormous Christmas tree last week.

Staff at the hospital were given the tree by Tesco, decorations were donated by B&Q and the lights were donated by Kier Services, where it now takes pride of place in the main entrance of the Treatment Centre.

Tesco donated the tree after they couldn’t fit it into their store. The 12 foot tall Christmas tree fits nicely with the high glass ceiling of the Treatment Centre.

Jill Southerden, Treatment Centre General Manager, said, “The Christmas tree really does create a festive atmosphere within the main entrance of the Treatment Centre and gives our patients, staff and visitors something nice to look at when they walk in.

“We are incredibly grateful for the donation of the tree from Tesco and the donation of the decorations from B&Q and lights from Kier Services.”
