The team visits patients and their families in their own homes. They work closely with the hospital team, the doctors treating you in hospital, your GP and District Nurse. You will normally be seen by the Macmillan nurse working in your area.
The team provides specialist help to patients admitted to Hinchingbrooke Hospital and their families.
Dr Matthews has a clinic for patients with pain or other symptoms. She is also able to visit people at home who are not well enough to attend clinic if needed. Patients are referred by their GP, consultant or specialist nurse.
