Hinchingbrooke has joined forces with Disabled Go - the UK's foremost provider of access information - to provide patients and visitors with detailed information on facilities available for disabled people at the Trust.
By visiting the Disabled Go website, through the links provided throughout the Hinchingbrooke website, people can check where their consultation room is in relation to the main entrance, how far the car park is from the entrance, whether there are lifts to access other floors, whether a hearing loop is fitted at reception, the type of announcements in waiting areas, whether information is available in alternative formats and in-depth information about adapted toilets.

A number of reserved disabled bays are provided to help patients and visitors with mobility problems to find a free parking space quickly. For free parking a disabled driver must display a disabled badge in the windscreen of the car, if this is not displayed, it is likely that a parking ticket will be issued. Badge holders can park free of charge in any marked bays in our car parks.
For people with hearing impairments who use hearing aids, induction loops are available in the treatment centre, the emergency care centre, the pharmacy and at the volunteers' desk in the main entrance to the hospital.
