Renowned for its excellent, friendly service, the newly refurbished and modernised Mulberry Private Healthcare is based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon.
In September 2008 we opened an exclusive new, business-style modern Check-In Reception Lounge, which is centrally situated within the hospital, comprising of a meet and greet reception area for private patients, a consulting room and an office.
In addition to this we offer bright, spacious and comfortable private en-suite bedrooms on two specialist wards - the newly refurbished Birch Ward (orthopaedic patients) and Juniper Ward (surgical patients).
Short-stay patients will benefit from being accommodated in private en-suite facilities in the modern, award-winning Treatment Centre which houses:
By choosing Mulberry for your health care, you can rest assured that there is a full range of general and specialist medical services available 24-hours a day including a fully equipped ITU and CCU. In addition to your on-site consultant the Mulberry team can call upon the expertise of the other specialists and facilities of the acute hospital if necessary. You also have the comfort of knowing that you will be fully supported by a wide range of diagnostic facilities, including MRI and CT scanning.
The Mulberry Ward Hostesses are available to ensure your comfort and care and are highly valued by our previous guests. Patient Satisfaction is of utmost importance to us and is being continually monitored.
The Private Patient Management for Mulberry are eager and enthusiastic to take the new service forward whilst at the same time preserving the values we are renowned for and are extremely keen to further the success of Mulberry Private Healthcare at Hinchingbrooke.
Additional benefits to our patients include:
Meals are served in your room and there is an enhanced, wide and varied menu available for your selection. Special dietary requirements can be catered for and we can arrange for you to discuss these with our chef if you wish. By prior arrangement you are welcome to invite a visitor to accompany you for a meal if you choose - we have a very reasonably priced menu for them to select a dish from.
You may welcome your guests whenever you wish but if you feel unable to accept visitors we will ensure that you are not troubled. We may request that you are given privacy when you require certain treatments and we do ask that your meal times are not interrupted, unless prior arrangements have been made for you to dine together. In addition, in the interests of all patients, if your visitors are proving disruptive towards other patients or staff we will ask them to leave the ward.
