Critical Appraisal

The Library has a number of resources to help you critically appraise the research found in literature searches.  Please contact the Library Managers for advice.

The CASP (Critical Appraisal Skills Programme) website is a useful source of information and includes critical appraisal checklists for different types of research studies.

For training in critical appraisal skills, one day Critical Appraisal Workshops are offered by the NHS East of England Evidence Adoption Centre in Cambridge.
