
The Library offers a programme of training in searching skills. We are currently offering the training sessions listed below.

Individual and small group training can also be arranged - please call us to discuss your training needs.
We ask for basic computer literacy for attendance at our training sessions. If you would like to find out about IT training sessions available to you, please contact your local IT department.

An introduction to the key elements of literature searching (using the NHS Evidence Healthcare Databases Advanced Search) in order to find relevant journal articles. The training will enable you to:

NHS Evidence enables access to accredited clinical and non-clinical evidence and best practice through a web-based portal. Learn how to navigate the resource in this one hour session. This training will introduce you to:
